The services shown on this Site—including drone videography, aerial photography, video production, events coverage, and related offerings—are provided based on availability, project scope, and location.

All quotes and proposals are estimates only until confirmed in writing.

Summit Drone Solutions maintains the right to decline projects due to location restrictions, safety concerns, weather, or regulatory compliance (including Transport Canada airspace restrictions).

 

5. Drone Compliance & Safety

Summit Drone Solutions operates under Transport Canada Advanced Operations Certification and carries valid liability insurance.

We follow all federal, provincial, and municipal regulations including:

• Airspace restrictions

• Flight permissions

• Safety requirements

• Privacy and property rights

 

We may require client cooperation for site access, permissions, or municipal approvals.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Obtaining necessary permissions to film on private property, worksites, venues, or events

• Informing us of any restricted areas or sensitive subjects

• Ensuring safe access conditions to filming locations

• Complying with privacy laws when individuals are filmed

 

Summit Drone Solutions is not responsible for any claims resulting from missing permits, permissions, or inaccurate information provided by the client.

 

7. Payments & Deposits

• A deposit may be required to secure booking.

• Final files are released upon full payment.

• Payments are non-refundable once production begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

8. Cancellation & Weather Policy

Drone operations are dependent on weather and safety conditions.

We reserve the right to reschedule or postpone flights due to:

• High winds

• Rain or snow

• Low visibility

• Airspace restrictions

• Unsafe site conditions

Deposits may be transferred to future dates if weather or safety restrictions occur.

9. Media Ownership & Usage

Unless otherwise agreed, Summit Drone Solutions retains copyright and ownership of all captured media.

Clients receive licensed usage rights for agreed purposes (promotion, marketing, documentation, etc.).

Media cannot be resold, sublicensed, or transferred without written permission, unless full ownership is purchased.

 

10. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control or endorse content on these sites and are not responsible for their policies or actions.

11. Limitation of Liability

Summit Drone Solutions is not liable for:

• Any indirect or incidental damages

• Any loss resulting from project delays due to weather, safety, or regulatory restrictions

• Unauthorized use of images or media provided to the client

Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific project or service.
